Alma Verde is a small wellness retreat in the misty highlands of Costa Rica; the owners' own home in the cloud forest, opened just a few times a year for small, intentional retreats. It's a personal experience, not a resort, and the whole brand runs on one idea: you don't come here to escape your life, you come to come home to yourself.

That intimacy shaped everything. The site had to feel as personal and grounding as the stay itself, so I took the colours straight from the earth it sits on: deep rainforest green, warm highland gold, sunlit cream. A high-contrast serif keeps it editorial rather than sugary, and the imagery stays in golden light and real texture — mist on the ridge, volcanic clay, the pool at dawn.

To round it out, I designed and built a custom Showit site carrying the three core experiences and a simple contact form, so a guest can go from the first photo of the cloud forest to reaching out directly; booking straight with Alma Verde rather than through a third party.
