Move with Mika is a Pilates practice based beachside in Nicaragua, open to anyone who wants to move. Mika is a surfer herself, and the practice grew out of that; building the strength and mobility that surfing asks for, but it opened out into something broader, for anyone who wants to feel more capable in their own body.
That origin shaped the whole brand. The palette came from the coastline she teaches on: deep ocean teal against sun-warmed apricot, coral, and soft peach. A high-contrast editorial serif keeps it elevated rather than sweet, and the imagery stays in motion and in daylight, because this is a practice you leave feeling stronger, not softer.
To round it out, I designed and built a custom Showit site with a scrollable programs list and a class schedule, so someone can go from curious to booked without hunting for anything.

pinterest board
This project started with a board, not a logo. Mika had strong photography and a clear voice, and nothing tying them together. So we built a Pinterest board first and kept pulling until the direction was unmistakable. The palette came straight from it, tested against her own photography rather than a swatch. Type followed, then several logo directions — so Mika could see the range rather than approve the first thing she was shown. With the identity settled, the site came together quickly.
